The primary responsibility of the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception Preservation Trust, Inc. is to grow and manage its investment portfolio from which it makes annual grants to support the Preservation Trust’s mission, “to provide financial support in perpetuity for the preservation, conservation, and protection of the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, a building of historical, artistic, and religious significance.”
